Saint Tulsidas and the Moghul emperor

Saint Tulsidas had the darshan of Sri  Hanuman, and through His grace, had Darshan of Lord Rama. The reputation of Tulasidas was not limited to Kashi only. It spread all over North India. Many Muslims also became Tulasidas's followers and worshipped Rama. There is a story associated with Emperor Jahangir. The fame of Tulasidas reached the ears of Moghul emperor Jahangir. He sent for Tulsidas. Tulsidas came to the emperor's court at Agra. The emperor asked the saint to perform some miracle. Tulsidas replied, "I have no superhuman power. I know only the name of Rama". The emperor put Tulsi in prison and said, "I will release you only if you show me a miracle". Tulsi then prayed to Hanuman. Countless bands of powerful monkeys entered the royal court. They rushed into the queens' apartment and caused great havoc. The emperor got frightened and said, "O saint, forgive me. I know your greatness now". He at once released Tulsi from prison.

Demolition of temple and the Monkeys

Anjaneya Temple at Sri Simhapuram at Vrindavan. It is said that when Aurangazeb ordered demolition of the temple, Govindadevaji, the person in charge of the temple, prayed to Anjaneya and scores of monkeys appeared on the walls of the temple. The soldiers ran away scared and Aurangazeb not only withdrew the order but also gave assistance for the development of the temple.

The picture on the left  was reportedly taken of Hanuman in a cave in Manasarovar in the Himalayas during 1998 summer.

A group of people went to Manas-sarovar for a piligrimage trip. One of the person there is a devotee Hanuman. He was exploring some caves and accidentally bounced upon a being looking like Lord Hanuman. All of them had cameras and this person happend to click the camera and died there for reasons not known. The other persons fished him out and the camera and here is the picture the camera showed. It is not sure how much it is true but many people are believing it. It is a fact that Hanuman does exist in flesh and blood because he is a Chiranjeevi.
